Celinde Schoenmaker (NL)

Celinde made her West End debut playing Fantine in Les Misérables at the Queen’s Theatre, which was a role she reprised for another year after performing Jenny in Howard Goodall’s Love Story in the Netherlands. ​

She went on to play the role of Christine in The Phantom Of The Opera for two years at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London where she performed in the show’s special thirtieth-anniversary performance which received five-star reviews.

She has performed the role of Franca in The Light in The Piazza in London and Los Angeles. Further credits include Jenny Lindt in Cy Coleman’s Barnum, Clare de Loone in On The Town (BBC Proms), and Her in the two-hander Marry Me A Little.

Most recently she’s been performing the role of Sarah Brown in Nick Hunters critically acclaimed Guys and Dolls at the Bridge Theatre in London.

 

On-screen, Celinde has played the role of Renate Blauel in Dexter Fletcher’s Elton John biopic Rocketman. Further credits include Maaike van de Berg in The Modelizer, Saskia in ITV’sOurHouse, Vanessa in the drama series Red Light, and the upcoming series Truth and Convictions Anna Mussener.

 

Celinde Schoenmaker regularly performs in concerts in London (Royal Albert Hall/Cadogan Hall), the Czech Republic, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, and Japan.

 

She is very much looking forward to her first performances in Australia.
